We need to understand the exam, the pattern, the type of questions asked, and why questions are framed as they are. Once we understand the exam, we have a better chance of clearing it on the first attempt.
About the Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant exam: Who is it for?
The Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant exam is ideal for consultants who have experience implementing and consulting on customer data platforms in a customer-facing role. The Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant is someone who demonstrates skills in designing, configuring, building, and implementing Data Cloud.
Salesforce highly recommends a combination of on-the-job experience, completion of relevant Partner Learning Camp (PLC) curriculum, trailmixes and self-study to maximize your chances of passing the exam.
About the Exam
Questions: 60 multiple-choice questions
Exam Duration: 105 mins
Passing Percentage: 62%
Fee: USD 200, plus applicable taxes as required per local law. Most partners receive certification vouchers which nullify the exam cost.
Delivery options: Proctored exam delivered onsite at a testing center or in an online proctored environment.

Exam Registration
To register for the exam, you need to go to https://www.webassessor.com/ and sign up with your email ID. Later you have to connect your webassesor ID with your trailblazer id so that all the certification details are synced up.
To register for the exam, click on the Register for an Exam tab. Expand the Consultant Exams dropdown. You will see the Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant (Figure 10.4).

Choose either the online proctored or the onsite proctored depending on how you want to take the exam. For the onsite proctored, you need to select a venue where you have to go and take the exam. There are exam centers in major cities around the world. For the onsite proctored, you can take the exam in the comfort of your house, provided you have a room that is free from distractions or noise.
Go ahead in the process and complete the payment and schedule your exam. We recommend booking a day at least 2-3 months after you have started your preparation or once you feel that you are confident enough to take the exam on the chosen date.
